How to adjust the coaxiality between the motor shaft and the worm shaft?

When the elevator is overhauled or rebuilt, it often encounters the project of replacing the electric motor. The more troublesome process in this project is to adjust the coaxiality between the motor shaft and the worm shaft. How to deal with this problem very well?

    Because the replacement of the new motor, it is not like the old motor is removed and repaired and installed as it is; it is not like the original set of traction machine is disassembled and then reinstalled. These two items are all “original”. As long as you pay attention to the position and quantity of each gasket when disassembling, install it as it is, and adjust it a little. At the same time, the machine positioning pin hole is drilled on the motor base and the hoisting machine base, which ensures that there is not much difference between the motor shaft and the worm shaft axis deviation, and only need to use the percentage in the radial height. The table can be adjusted to help adjust the coaxiality very quickly.

    When adjusting the coaxiality between the motor shaft and the worm shaft, the four large bolts (coupling pins) on the motor shaft coupling and the brake wheel coupling should not be installed first, and a U-shaped magnet is placed on the motor coupling ( A U-shaped magnet in the permanent magnet sensor can be used. A 1.2-1.5mm2 plastic copper wire is wound on the magnet. The length can be bent to a certain angle according to the needs. Figure 1 (please click), peel one end of the copper wire. The plastic skin is 5~6mm long, and the distance from the surface of the brake wheel is 0.5mm. Then the motor shaft is moved by hand to rotate around the surface of the brake wheel. According to the difference between the copper wire head and the surface of the brake wheel, the adjustment is coarse. Left and right deflection and height difference of the motor shaft. When coarsely adjusted to the distance between the copper wire head and the surface of the brake wheel <0.5mm and gently contact the surface of the brake wheel, insert the four coupling pins and tighten them first, then remove the U-shaped magnet and copper. Wires, rotating disc wheels are finely calibrated with a dial gauge until they meet the requirements.

   The advantage of this is that it is simple and convenient, and the problem of adjusting the coaxiality of the motor shaft and the worm shaft can be solved.
